Headliner Games

Marquette at Wisconsin (-2 ½) at 1 p.m. (FS1)

#15 Florida (-4) at UConn at 3 p.m. (ESPN)

#12 Seton Hall (-4) at St. Louis at 4 p.m. (ESPNU)

Three top shelf nationally relevant games (out of 35 total) today. Marquette will surely vault into the Top 25 if they can win at Wisky. On the other hand, Wisconsin needs this game more to show that it isn’t a program fading away. I think Wisky wins a close one at home. Florida has not looked like the title contender most envisioned despite solid play from Va. Tech transfer Kerry Blackshear. UConn is still in rebuild mode but this one would go a long way towards getting them back into the spotlight. I like UF in this one; too much talent and experience and they are due for a good shooting game. How does Seton Hall rebound at St. Louis after an epic game from Myles Powell? I am guessing they will with another big game from Powell (maybe just 30 points this time).

New Mexico St. at #19 Arizona (-13 ½) at 2 p.m. (Pac-12N)

UCF at Illinois St. (-2 ½) at 2 p.m. (ESPN3)

Yale at Oklahoma St. (-13) (NIT Season Tip-Off campus game) at 2:30 p.m. (ESPN+) $$

New Orleans at Miss. State (-17 ½) at 3 p.m. (SECN+)

Wake Forest (-3) at Charlotte at 6 p.m. (ESPNU)

Georgia St. at Georgetown (-11) (Empire Classic Regional Round game) at 7:30 p.m. (FS1)

UT Arlington at #14 Oregon (-16 ½) (Battle 4 Atlantis Mainland game) at 8 p.m. (Pac-12N)

I again mixed in some big underdogs with a couple of slight underdogs for today. I think one of the big underdogs pulls an upset (Georgia State maybe?), and at least one of the slight underdogs wins (Charlotte I am looking at you).

The Ball St-Indiana St. game should be the best of this group. Enjoy!
